Jai Club features teen patti, the three-card game often called Indian poker. It is more social and strategic than fast games like Aviator, with betting, bluffing and the choice to play blind or seen. You will find it in the Jai Club games lobby alongside rummy. This guide explains the hand rankings, the blind-versus-chaal system and how a round plays out.
How Teen Patti Works
Each player is dealt three cards face down and an ante goes into the pot to start. Players then take turns betting, raising or folding. You can play blind, betting without looking at your cards, or seen (chaal) after viewing them. Betting continues until only one player remains, or until a showdown compares the surviving hands — the best three-card hand wins the pot.
Teen Patti Hand Rankings
Hands rank from strongest to weakest as shown below. Knowing this order is the foundation of every betting decision.
| Rank | Hand | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| 1 (highest) | Trail / Set | Three cards of the same rank, e.g. three aces |
| 2 | Pure sequence | Three consecutive cards of the same suit |
| 3 | Sequence (run) | Three consecutive cards of mixed suits |
| 4 | Colour (flush) | Three cards of the same suit, not in sequence |
| 5 | Pair | Two cards of the same rank plus one other |
| 6 (lowest) | High card | None of the above; the highest single card |
Blind vs Chaal at a Glance
- Blind. Bet without looking at your cards, usually at a lower stake.
- Chaal (seen). View your cards first, then bet at least double the blind stake.
- Sideshow. A seen player can ask to compare cards privately with the previous seen player.
- Pot & limits. Stakes and pot caps are shown on the table before you join.
- Showdown. When two players remain, hands are compared and the best one wins the pot.
How to Play Teen Patti on Jai Club
- Join a table — Pick a teen patti table at a stake you are comfortable with.
- Place the ante (boot) — Each player puts the starting amount into the pot.
- Choose blind or seen — Bet blind without viewing your cards, or see them and bet chaal.
- Bet, raise or fold — Take turns adding to the pot, raising the stake, or folding to bow out.
- Reach the showdown — When two players remain, compare hands and the best three cards win.
Teen patti is real-money gambling. Cards are dealt randomly, bluffs can fail, and you can lose your stake on any hand — there are no guaranteed wins. Set a budget before you play, never chase losses, and remember the game is for adults aged 18 and over. Read our responsible gaming guidance first.
Tips for New Teen Patti Players
Play tight early, fold weak high-card hands rather than calling every raise, and use blind play to keep stakes low while you read the table. A sideshow can save chips when you suspect you are beaten. Start small as you learn. When you are ready you can register, sign in via the Jai Club app, and later request a withdrawal of any winnings.
